Paul Cook

Paul Cook, born in Bradford, gained his first experience in journalism at the University of Durham, writing for the student newspaper, Palatinate. He started his formal journalism training on the day of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. His first news job was as a trainee reporter on the Keighley News, in West Yorkshire. After qualifying to become a senior reporter in 2005, he joined The Northern Echo, where he has since worked in the Darlington office.
