A TERRIER who loves the outdoors is looking for a new owner who can keep up with him.
Two-year-old Scamp, who is being looked after by staff at Dogs Trust Darlington, originally came from a farm.
Staff say he was initially shy, but has been brought out of his shell and loves human company.
Claire Hopps, supporter relations officer, said: "He is a beautiful boy who gets along well with all his kennelmates, and he is a firm favourite with his canine carers.
"Scamp adores the outdoors and he loves running around the fields, the beach and he also loves water. He would thrive in an active home with someone who will take him out for plenty of exercise.
"As he can be a little sensitive, he would prefer an adultonly home with owners who have had dogs before.
"If you regularly put on your walking boots, please give Scamp a chance. He will make a great companion."
Anyone who would like to meet Scamp, can call at the Darlington rehoming centre any day except Tuesday between noon and 4pm. For more details, call 01325-333114.
