Police look for owner of stolen projector

POLICE are asking schools and businesses to check their equipment after a projector was found during the search of a house.

The silver projector, which would be used for Powerpoint presentations, is slightly bigger than a DVD player.

It is suspected to be stolen property after it was found by officers carrying out a search of a property in Outram Street, in Darlington.

The item may have come from school, college or business premises and has a current portable applicance test certificate.

Anyone who believes the projector might belong to them is asked to call Darlington Police on the new non-emergency number 101, and ask for the vehicle crime team or Det Con Kay McCready.
