A MEETING will be held to discuss how £30,000 will be used to improve public transport in a rural village.
The money, which is only available for public transport in Sadberge, near Darlington, was brought to light by councillor Brian Jones, ward member for the area, at last month's full council meeting in Darlington Town Hall.
The money was gained when the borough council sold the land of the former primary school to a housing developer.
A council spokeswoman confirmed the meeting would take place between local councillors and consultants JMP, who are conducting a feasibility study of public transport in the borough.
