A SERIES of dance workshops run by hip-hop and street dancers from the capital will be held in Darlington.
The workshops, open to children aged eight to adults, are being run by Anthony "A D" Duncan, from award winning dancers Flawless, Bly Richards, from the dance crew Plague, and Winston Gain-Charles, from the dance crew Nu Flow.
Gill Reed, from Dimensions Dance Academy in Darlington, has organised the three events, to be held this spring.
She said: "A ll of these teachers have never been further North thanManchester, so it's great to see them up here.
"Not everyone can afford to go to London to take dance classes like these so we are bringing London to Darlington."
Bly Richards will hold a hiphop and house dance workshop on February 19, Winston Gain-Charles will hold breakdancing and hip-hop classes on March 25 and Anthony "A D" Duncan will hold street and hip-hop classes on April 29.
The classes will run from 12pm to 1.30pm and 2pm to 3.30pm, and will be held at Hummersknott Academy, Darlington. The cost will be £15 for one workshop and £25 for two. Formore information visit dimensionsdance@bt internet. com, or call Gill Reed on 07709-522000.
