A PET owner is appealing for information about her dog who has been missing in the cold weather for four days.
Worm, a white and tan beagle bitch, went missing on Friday, December 3, when she slipped the lead while out on a walk in the Harrowgate Hill area of Darlington.
There have been three reported sightings since, including one in the field at Harrowgate Hill the same day.
On Saturday, Worm was seen on the A167 near Ketton Lane, and on Sunday, near Morrisons supermarket on North Road.
She is 15 months old, micro-chipped and is said to be friendly towards other dogs.
Her owner Margaret Johnson said: "Posters and leaflets have been distributed to local businesses in the areas where she has been sighted and the council dog wardens have been looking for her.
"Thanks to local farmers, horse riders, dog walkers and businesses for helping in the search and displaying posters."
A reward is on offer for her safe return. To help, contact Mrs Johnson on 01325-483491.
