Simon Davey has swung the axe by making four changes to the Darlington line-up for this evening's game at Cheltenham Town.

The manager has called on Dan Groves, Chris Moore and Mor Diop while Mark Bower makes his first start since December.

He takes his place at the centre of the back-four in place of Ian Miller who misses out due to a hernia problem. In his absence Gary Smith takes the captain's armband.

As well as Miller, following Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth, out of the side are Mark Convery, Josh Gray and Nathan Mulligan who scored the winner last week at Rochdale.

Gray sustained a knee injury on Saturday which is likely to keep him out of the team for the remainder of the season, but both Mulligan and Convery are on the bench

Among the substitutes for Davey's side are youth team players Dan Burn, John McReady and Michael Smith.

A win for Cheltenham this evening would secure their League Two status.

Tonight's game was originally scheduled to be played on January 30, when Steve Staunton was still Quakers boss, but was postponed less than two hours before kick-off due to a frozen pitch.
