MUSEUM staff are writing a new exhibition about the life and times of Lewis Carroll to be staged later this year.
The exhibition entitled Lewis Carroll: Living in Wonderland will focus on his life and times at Croft, and things that may have inspired him to write the famous Alice in Wonderland books.
The exhibition will run from October until March 2011 in the temporary exhibition gallery of the Head of Steam Museum in Darlington.
Staff are hoping the public can help with items for the exhibition.
Dave Tetlow, museum manager, said "We have so far had a great response from members of the public in relation to artifacts, photographs, books and documents about Lewis Carroll but we need more help finding objects or costumes from stage productions, musicals or films.
"If anyone has anything they think might be of interest for the exhibition, please don't hesitate to contact me."
If you can help, please contact Mr Tetlow on 01325-734121 or e-mail david.tetlow@darlington.gov.uk.
