DOZENS of young dancers got into step yesterday with Strictly Dance Fever winner Darrien Wright.

Wright, who was also named Citizen of the Year 2007 at the Best of Darlington awards, is back in Darlington to teach a week-long high-octane dance workshop called Dream It, Live It.

At the end of the week, there will be a performance at Darlington Arts Centre, where the dance pupils will get to strut their stuff in front of an audience.

A spokesperson from Darlington Arts Centre said "We are very pleased to welcome Darrien back to the Arts Centre. He is an incredibly successful and talented dancer, and the workshops are always popular.

“They provide children with the opportunity to learn with a professional, and practice and perform new dance skills. We are looking forward to seeing the results of their hard work, when they perfom in our theatre at the end of the week."
