SPORTS, arts, crafts, film and theatre activities will all be on offer to children across Darlington this summer.
Darlington Borough Council is running workshops during the school holidays at venues across the town.
Workshops will be held at Darlington Arts Centre from July 20 to August 28, including balloon modelling and a craft event for children to make pirate costumes in time for Darlington by the Sea on July 23. Others feature kite-making, flower art, aboriginal art and Bollywood dance.
The arts centre will also host children's theatre performances including The Three Bears and Alan in Wonderland & The Three Goats.
The Head of Steam will feature Romans at the Railway Museum, where children can dress up in Roman costume and play in a period villa. Events will be held on Tuesdays, Thursday and Sundays during the summer.
The Dolphin Centre will offer a range of sports activities, with float sessions in the swimming pool and diving area, gymnastics and trampolining.
Eastbourne Sports Complex will provide mini-football sessions, cricket coaching and an athletics camp.
The two libraries - at Crown Street and Cockerton - will put on story telling and creative writing sessions.
