A RESIDENTS only parking scheme in a village could be requested by councillors following concerns from householders.
Residents in Norton Crescent, Sadberge, near Darlington, have expressed problems with parking near their homes.
An email sent to Sadberge Parish Council said there were problems with parking on the pavements, access and double parking.
A new housing development at St Andrews Park is in the process of being built with many of the houses unoccupied, which could lead to further problems when they are all bought.
One resident has suggested either yellow lines or residents only parking.
Councillors decided for parish clerk Alastair Mackenzie to ask for borough council advice about parking schemes before progressing with the complaint.
