MAKING LIFE L'
WHY is the Ravensdale Road area of Darlington targeted by so many driving schools?
Every few minutes one comes along, dodging in and out of parked cars, children and dogs.
To any instructors reading this letter - could you please take your cars to another area for a change.
When I learned to drive, friends took me out for lessons at very quiet times to disused airfields and car parks, and we managed perfectly well.
With the amount of traffic on our roads, perhaps we should be thinking about cutting down on the number of new cars, as the problem is only going to get much worse.
Come on, driving instructors, be inventive and vary your route, and ideas. - Rosemary Perkins, Darlington.
