DARLINGTON’S new National League North campaign will see an early season trip to neighbours Spennymoor Town.

After the Quakers’ opener against Curzon Ashton on Saturday, August 4 at Blackwell Meadows, Tommy Wright’s side will be heading for Spennymoor on Tuesday, August 7. That will be followed by another away date at Brackley Town the following Saturday.

North-East side Blyth Spartans will be heading to Blackwell on August 15 while Spennymoor will be heading there for the return fixture on Saturday, January 19.

Darlington’s double header over Christmas will be against York City. Martin Gray’s side will travel north on Boxing Day before they meet again on New Year’s Day at Bootham Crescent.

Sandwiched in between those is a home game with Ashton United on Saturday, December 29, while Darlington finish the season with a home game against Leamington.
