A TEAM of property professionals have swapped their office for the road as they take on an epic challenge.

The staff from Savills in Darlington are due to finish their 'Benidorm or Bust' escapade today in their £450 car – which they’ve lovingly named ‘Vera’ – all in aid of charity.

Matthew Bell, Mark Watt, Alice Chatham and Anthony Boyce have taken on the challenge to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

They travelled from Darlington through France before entering Spain and finishing off on the Costa Blanco in their 25-year-old Volvo.

Philip Coles, director and head of office at Savills Darlington, said: “This is no holiday for the team: they have invested a huge amount of time, money and their own annual leave into making this challenge a reality and I would like to wish them the very best of luck in their endeavours. They have already done a fantastic job of fundraising for such a worthy cause and we hope that people will continue to dig deep to support them over the next few days.”
