I WOULD like to show my thanks to Darlington Manor care home staff for their total care of my husband since February 2017.
It is home from home for me and provides a lovely friendly atmosphere.
They had to defer visiting for a week because of a virus, but they rang me every day. It’s a credit to the devotion of some very hard working people, I envy their patience.
We had a bad experience in August 2016 when my husband went to another home. It was like a prison. They lied to us.
My husband’s carer said I needed some respite, after three weeks I was a wreck and was prescribed with drugs.
I have come to terms with myself and weaned myself off the drugs.
If anyone is looking for a safe, happy environment for a loved one, I recommend it.
