THE Scrooge theme seems to last all year with our Darlington Labour council.
Withdrawing the slight concession of free parking in council car parks for blue badge holders affects people like me even more.
I had a right leg below knee amputation at the age of 76, because I was over pension age I do not qualify for mobility allowance, disability allowance, or even road fund assistance.
Because I like to be independent and own a car, I am also refused transport to the mobility department at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
