A BAKERY in Cockerton is offering customers a chance to win its Christmas window display.

Ever year Robineau Café and Patisserie seek to spread festive cheer with their creative confectionary scenes.

Previous years has seen chocolate carousels, iced advent calendars and a family of gingerbread men eating Christmas dinner, adorning their shop window.

Frederic Robineau, a director and creator alongside Jane Robineau, said: “We try to do something a bit more unusual every year.

“It started with us trying to attract customers to the shop and year after year people have come back to us and said ‘what’s your window?’"

This year’s window features a giant Christmas cracker containing the prize of £180 worth of chocolate, truffles, macaroons and afternoon tea gift vouchers.

Until Wednesday, December 20, every customer who spends £25 or more in the shop will receive a ticket that automatically enters them in a prize draw.

The lucky winner will be contacted on December 21 in time for Christmas.

“People enjoy waiting for the Christmas window and they like the surprise,” said Jane Robineau.
