A MAN accused of nine historic sex allegations has been cleared of all the charges, following a trial at Durham Crown Court.
Matthew Alexander Hill was charged with five counts of indecent assault and four of rape, dating from more than a decade.
The 30-year-old defendant denied all the charges during the trial and on the sixth day of the hearing the jury returned unanimous not guilty verdicts.
Following the verdicts Judge Christopher Prince thanked the jury and discharged Mr Hill, of Haughton Road, Darlington.
