TOOLS worth more than £1,500 have been reported stolen from a van that was left parked overnight.
Van owners are being warned to be extra vigilant and to ensure equipment is securely stored following the incident in Darlington.
The theft was reported after the van’s owner returned home from holiday with the tools being removed from the vehicle between Monday, July 10, and Thursday, July 13.
PC Paul Vickers said: “Anyone with information on who is responsible is asked to contact Durham Police on 101, quoting the crime number CRI00068083.”
