AN ENERGETIC pair of four-legged friends are searching for new owners to play fetch with.

Six-year-old Jack Russel and Lakeland Terrier-crosses, Jack and Tallulah, are currently being cared for by Dogs Trust Darlington staff who hope to see the inseparable dogs rehomed together.

A Dogs Trust Darlington spokesman said: “Tallulah is a shy lady who relies on Jack as he is more outgoing which is helping to build her confidence.

“They both love to play with toys, but are not always so keen on sharing so play time needs to be supervised and a good selection of toys available to pick from.

“Fetch is a favourite game of theirs, especially when two balls are thrown at the same time so that both of them can win.

“Jack and Tallulah are very clever and have mastered sit and down both would enjoy learning new skills.”

The rehoming centre at Hill House Farm, off Hill House Lane, Sadberge, is open from Thursdays to Tuesdays, between noon and 4pm.
