A SERIES of events have been planned for children in Darlington to celebrate Easter.
The fun is set to start with an Easter party at Under the Sea in the Dolphin Centre on Friday, April 7 from 4pm-6pm.
Traditional fairground rides will be in the Market Square from April 8 to 22, whilst youngsters can enjoy indoor fun at Head of Steam Railway Museum with their Easter Special on Sunday, April 16.
On April 12, Family Learning will be running a free Easter art & craft event at Crown Street Library at 10.30am and Cockerton library at 1.30pm.
Cllr Nick Wallis, Darlington Borough Council’s cabinet member for leisure, environment and transport said: “With a full line up of events and activities on offer in Darlington, alongside a wide choice of shops and restaurants, the new cinema and, of course, Darlington’s wonderful parks and cycle paths, there’s no need to travel too far from home for family fun this Easter.”
