THE story of Darlington Football Club’s recent resurrection has been retold by a lifelong supporter.
Richard Cook, a volunteer and diehard Darlington FC fan, was a guest speaker during Darlington Rotary Club’s latest meeting.
A Rotary Club spokeswoman said: “Mr Cook gave us a potted version of the club’s history and the focused on recent times and told the story of the club since it went in to receivership.
“Again, following concerted hard work from the devoted fans, the goal of returning to the town was realised on Boxing Day 2016.”
