A DOG with the personality of a puppy is hoping to find a forever home with new owners to play fetch with.

Pip, a seven-year-old Border Collie and Spaniel cross, is currently being care for by Darlington-based National Animal Sanctuary Support League (NASSL) members.

His playful personality has already caught the attention of NASSL staff, who are searching to find people-loving Pip a suitable family to live with.

A NASSL spokeswoman said: “Pip has a wonderful zest for life – he has a very outgoing personality, loves being around people, and getting out and about.

“He loves to play with a ball and has a passion for water.

“Although he loves his walks he also likes his home comforts and being around people who will interact with him and spend time with him.”

Seven-year-old Pip is used to being around other dogs and could also go to a family with older children.

NASSL have also appealed for donations to ensure the sanctuary can continue to care for animals in need.
