A PERSON has been cut free from their car after a collision in Darlington on Tuesday morning.
Burtree Lane was closed both ways after the collision involving two vehicles between the A68 West Auckland Road and Whessoe Road.

Firefighters from Darlington and Bishop Auckland joined police and ambulance crews at the scene and used cutting equipment to free one person from their car.
The road was closed for several hours but has now been reopened.
