FUNDRAISERS hoping to pay for cancer treatment for a seriously ill eight-year-old are appealing for help.
The friends and family of Darlington boy Mark Hammond are hoping to raise £10,000 to fund potentially life-saving treatment.
They have organised a series of fundraising events but are appealing for help in covering the costs of promoting their events.
The fundraisers are hoping to find a kind-hearted printer who would assist by covering the cost of producing tickets and posters for their events.
A spokeswoman said: “This is for Mark’s fund, so we can raise more money without having to pull anything out for overheads.
“We would be unbelievably grateful.”
A table-top sale in aid of Mark’s fund will be held on Saturday, February 18 at St Mary’s Community Centre in Cockerton from 10am until 3pm.
Tables can be booked for £10, with all proceeds going to help Mark.
