A BURNS Night is being hosted by Rockliffe Hall, near Darlington, in celebration of Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns.
The event, from 7.30pm on January 25 and which costs £35 per ticket, takes place in the hotel’s Brasserie restaurant and will feature a traditional Scottish three course meal.
Bagpipes will welcome guests on arrival, the haggis will also be played in by the bagpipes and the Burns poem will be performed.
The dress code is smart causal with a piece of tartan.
Then on Friday January 27, from 7pm, a ‘Murder Mystery’ evening is planned. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival, a two course meal in the Rockliffe Suite and murder mystery entertainment followed by a disco and dancing. Cost is £45.
