A STAGE to showcase Darlington’s singing skills is being offered to choirs in a bid to share a Christmas cracker this December.
Singers of all styles and genres are invited to perform on the podium level of the Feethams leisure complex in the town centre.
Simon Hawkins, development director with Urban & Civic – the property development company behind the multi-million pound development – said: “We have had a great first year here in Darlington and just wanted to make sure the community knows how much we appreciate being welcomed.
“We thought giving a forum to local singing groups and celebrating the season would be a great way for us to do just that.”
Performance slots for the podium space are available from 5pm on Thursday, December 15, and Friday, December 16, as well as from noon on Saturday, December 17, and Sunday, December 18.
Mr Hawkins added: “We have a fantastic Christmas tree on the podium level and we thought it would be great opportunity to showcase some of the amazing singing talent in the town.”
