A CARE home needs donations of sensory equipment.
Staff at The Grange in Darlington are appealing for help in collecting a variety of items to help their residents reignite their senses.
Anything that will help the team create more of a sensory environment in the home, especially within its dementia unit, would be welcomed.
Deputy manager Carmen Miclea said: “We’re looking for anything that will inspire the senses.
“Everything we take for granted some of our residents no longer have.
“We would like anything that will help us to help them rebuild their senses.”
Anyone who can assist should visit the home on Whinbush Way or call 01325 464900.
