A MAN alleged to have smashed a car window in order to steal items inside is being sought by police in Darlington.
A MAN alleged to have smashed a car window in order to steal items inside is being sought by police in Darlington.
The man, who is described as being a white male and around 5ft 8”, of medium build, is believed to have approached a white Seat car parked on a private driveway on Yarm Road, close to its roundabout with McMullen Road.
CCTV imagery from around 11.20pm on Friday, September 23, has captured the man, who was wearing a light-coloured baseball cap, light-coloured jeans and a dark-coloured waist-length jacket, as running towards McMullen Road after the incident.
