A BUSINESS will mark its first anniversary in Darlington with a charity coffee morning.
Dainton Self Storage will open its doors to the public, customers and neighbouring businesses on Friday, September 30.
The coffee morning is being staged in a bid to support Macmillan Cancer Support and will take place from 9.30am until noon.
Staff at the business have been supporting the charity since January and have raised more than £4,000 through fundraising activities.
Manager Shaun Lacey said: “We would like to invite our neighbours and customers to drop in for a slice of cake and a cup of tea or coffee to celebrate our first birthday and help raise awareness of the fantastic work Macmillan Cancer Support do.”
He added: “I’m thrilled with the success of the site and a big part of that is down to our customers.”
