A RUGBY club that has worked hard to get more people involved in the sport has renewed its sponsorship with its long-standing partner.
Darlington Mowden Park has announced the renewal of its sponsorship with SG Petch; the largest multi-franchise motor dealership in the North-East.
The two-year extension will see SG Petch continue as Principle Sponsor of Mowden Park’s ‘Club’ strand, which now encompasses 21 teams from the minis and juniors through to the amateur men’s and Premiership Women’s sections.
The deal also sees SG Petch remain on the Mowden Park 1st XV jersey as an Official Sponsor until 2018.
John Sedgwick, general manager SG Petch Darlington, said: “The development and support of local sport on all levels is extremely important to us as a company and Mowden Park have grown to represent something quite remarkable for Darlington and the region.
“We’re delighted to be continuing our investment in both the grass-root element of the club as well as the professionals,” he added.
