THE judges have made their selection and now it is time for Darlington residents to decide which garden should receive this year’s Darlington in Bloom People’s Choice award.
Green-fingered people across the borough took part in the annual competition and the judges drew up a shortlist of gardens to view before selecting the winners for five of the six categories.
The final winner, the People’s Choice, will be decided by the public and you can vote for the garden you think should win via Facebook.
Votes can also be cast at Crown Street Library, where photographs of the gardens will be on display.
The winners of all six categories will be announced once the People’s Choice votes have been counted and each winner will receive a £25 gardening voucher.
Voting for the People’s Choice award will close on Wednesday 31 August.
To vote, visit Facebook.com/darlingtonboroughcouncil and then go to Photos, ‘Darlington in Bloom 2016 – People’s Choice vote’ album and click ‘Like’ on the picture of the garden you wish to vote for.
