A CONCERT to celebrate unity in Darlington will be held next week.
Hello to the Children of the World, organised by the Celebrating Communities Group, will take place on Wednesday, July 20.
The Applause Theatre School will perform a mixture of song and dance, inspired by countries across the world.
It has been organised to bring Darlington’s community together.
Celebrating Communities’ founder member Cllr Gerald Lee said: “If we put politics and religion aside, people across the world share the most important values in life – family, friendship, loyalty, morality.
“It is this we will celebrate.”
The event will be held at Hummersknott Academy from 7pm.
