A HEARTFELT plea to find a missing dog has been made by a Hurworth family.

Zac, the Jack Russell, disappeared while at the Tees Cottage Pumping Station in Darlington between 5pm and 7pm on Friday night.

He is two years old, has brass tags on his collar with contact details and will come to 'Zac, Zac, Zac'.

His owner, 'Buster' Harrison said he and his wife were desperate to be reunited with their pet.

"We had just come back from holiday an hour earlier when we heard the dog had gone missing," said Mr Harrison. "The dog is so precious to my wife - she is very concerned. I would do anything I could to rescue the situation."

If you find Zac or know of his whereabouts Mr Harrison can be contacted on 01325-720868.
