A TEAM of accountants are preparing for an Alice in Wonderland-themed midnight walk which raises thousands for a Darlington charity.
Staff at Clive Owen LLP won’t be late for a very important date after signing up to take part in the annual St Teresa’s Hospice Midnight Walk.
Fourteen staff members, dubbed Clive’s Walking Wonders, from accounts, payroll and reception, plus a selection of family members, will set off on the 1.5-mile route through Darlington’s South Park on Friday, June 17.
Margaret Gill, Clive Owen marketing manager, said: “We have been taking part for the past three years and have so far raised in the region of £900.
“St Teresa’s is so much more than just a hospice; you can see the passion everyone there has for the care and support they provide, which does so much to help patients and their families.”
All walkers are being encouraged to dress as their favourite character from Lewis Carroll’s novel.

Registration costs £10, with entrants asked to try and raise £50 in sponsorship.
