A MAN was arrested after a police chase involving a stolen vehicle in Darlington on Saturday night.
Police used TPAC (Tactical Pursuit And Containment) tactics to box in and stop the vehicle.
One police car suffered minor damage in the incident.
The stolen Chevrolet car was recovered and the driver, who police say had been drinking, was arrested.
A spokesman for Cleveland and Durham RPU said: " A stolen car was sighted in Darlington.
"The vehicle was followed and when enough unit's were behind it, it was stopped using TPAC tactics (boxing in) Only minor dents to the police vehicle.
The incident was caught on film by a crew from the Police Interceptors series.
