A GRUELLING zombie bootcamp followed by an auction and disco will be held to raise money for a cancer charity.
Myeloma UK will hold a large fundraising event called Armadedun where competitors dressed as zombies will be put through their paces in a bootcamp on Saturday, October 24.
Several teams of 20 will battle it out at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield, before heading to a glamorous disco and auction event at Darlington Golf Club.
Local businesses including Hartlepool Coaching Academy, Daisy Dee's Home Baking Price4me and McClarrons Ltd have donated several prizes to the auction.
Organiser Lisa Parkin said: "We're expecting a big turnout and hoping to raise a lot of money. Myeloma UK is a really worthy charity and this will be a fun way to give back."
The bootcamp runs from10am – 4pm. Tickets costs £20. The auction and disco is from 7pm – midnight. Ticket costs £5. Tickets available at Relish Sandwich Shop and Penthouse Fitness Suite both in Darlington.
