BUSINESS owners are being given the chance to set up shop at Darlington station, as part of an initiative to help independent retailers.

The pilot initiative launches at Darlington station today (Thursday August 27) and continues on three other dates over the next week.

A range of local businesses will set-up shop inside the station between the main platforms at the south end of the historic station at Bank Top.
