A TEN-YEAR-OLD cello player entertained crowds at a charity event recently.
Joshua Connor played three pieces at Darlington Lions Club annual concert and warmed crowds up for French singer Flossie Malavialle.
Young Joshua - who was accompanied by his father Ben on the piano - is currently being supported by the club, who have pledged to help him with tuition fees.
The evening saw Flossie Malavialle entertain the crowds with renditions of jazz and modern classics and her own take on Edith Piaf's music.
All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Education Centre for Children with Down's Syndrome, based at Newton Aycliffe.
