A NORTH-EAST boutique combined fashion and fundraising to raise money for charity.
Leggs, in Skinnergate, Darlington, hosted a fashion show to raise funds for Sara’s Hope Foundation, which runs a holiday retreat in Crete offering respite for children with cancer and their families.
The event raised £611 for the charity and featured prize giveaways, cocktails, prosecco, cupcakes and a raffle.
Owner Ann Coxon said: “It was really good, we had loads of fun. We were really pleased to have raised so much, as we thought at first we would like to raise about £500.
“We have pledged to raise £1,000 for the charity over three years. We are going to do another one next year and hopefully we will raise even more money.”
