ROCK n roll classics will provide the soundtrack to a Darlington charity event.

The So Shoddy Waddy tribute band will host an evening of live music and entertainment in aid of Age UK Darlington on Saturday, May 9.

The Rock n Roll Fundraiser will give music fans chance to don their dancing shoes for a night of classics including Great Balls of Fire, Johnny B Goode and Brown Eyed Girl.

The event is being held in a bid to raise money for independent charity Age UK Darlington to continue its work providing services to the town’s older, vulnerable and isolated residents.

The party is being held at the Cockerton Institute on Woodland Road from 7.30pm.

Tickets are £5 with all proceeds going to charity.

To book, visit Bradbury House, Beaumont Street West or ageukdarlington.org.uk/events.
