APPEAL: Man assaulted by thief who stole his sat nav
A MAN was assaulted by a thief who stole a sat nav from his van.
The victim gave chase after witnessing the thief snatch his Tom Tom sat nav from his van, which was parked on Clifton Road, in Darlington, and followed him on to Shakespeare Road, where he was attacked.
He was treated in hospital for injuries to his eye and jaw.
The incident happened at about 11.30am on Tuesday, January 13.
The suspect is described as about 25-years-old, 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing dark clothing.
