CHILDREN learning about how Christmas is celebrated around the world put what they learned into song.
Year One and Year Two children at St Bede's RC Primary School in Darlington have been learning how children celebrate Christmas in Malawi, Ireland, the USA and Poland.
And they sang Christmas songs from all those countries as well as getting dressed up to perform to parents and grandparents who packed out the school for two performances.
Acting deputy headteacher Kathleen Heskett said: "The children have really learned a lot about cultures around the world, so it's been a big success.
"The message has been that we might all celebrate Christmas in different ways, the central story of what it's all about remains the same."
