BUDDING artists and designers in Darlington are being invited to take their first step in to the interior design industry.
Online blind retailer directblinds.co.uk is searching for the nation’s best up-and-coming designer and will give them an opportunity to create their own product range.
Darlington designers are being invited to try and have their work published and gain exposure with one of the UK’s leading retailer for blinds and curtains.
Nicolas Swift, joint managing director of directblinds.co.uk, said: “We’re keen to support those in Darlington who are keen to progress a career in design and this is the perfect opportunity for someone with real talent to get well-deserved exposure.
“We have the ability to print any pattern or picture onto our blinds and we’re looking forward to seeing what original ideas people can come up with.”
Entrants can share their designs with @DirectBlinds on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using #makemeadesigner.
Entries are also accepted via email to makemeadesigner@directblinds.co.uk
