FORMER Blue Presenter Helen Skelton will make an appearance at a country store’s open day on Easter Saturday.
She will join staff and customers at Mole Country Stores, in Piercebridge, near Darlington, on Saturday, April 19.
The store has recently undergone a £250,000 refurbishment.
The celebratory event will run from 10am to 4pm.
Highlights will include a hog roast, supplier displays and face painting.
Customers will also have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a day at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage.
The winning customer will enjoy a River Cottage course of their choice.
Store manager Rachel Sutton said: “This is a great feel- good event where customers can come and enjoy fantastic offers on seasonal ranges, free refreshments and special demonstrations helping them live simply for less.
“We look forward to welcoming customers over the Easter Bank Holiday and we hope they like the new look and feel of the store following our rebrand and refurbishment.”
