Youth theatre group in Shildon seeks volunteers

A LOCAL youth theatre group is looking for singers and actors to take part in its new show.

The Tearaways group are looking for recruits for its upcoming show A Magic Night Of Musicals.

The actors team is seeking singers, dancers and actors for the show which will be held at Civic Hall, Shildon, in June.

The show will include music from Annie, Dirty Dancing , Chicago, Jersey Boys, Les Miserables and other musicals.

A Tearaways spokesman said: "This will be The Tearaways largest production in the 15 years they've been going.

"We are on the lookout for young people aged 11-16-years who can sing, dance or act or who want to improve on present skills.

"It’s free to join so come along and see what it’s like. There’s no commitment to join."
