Elderly
I TOTALLY agree this time with
Christopher Wardell (HAS, May 12).
Pensioners should be given priority
instead of this Government
spending billions on overseas aid.
What would happen to this
country if there was something on
the scale of the recent tragedy in
Burma? I know of people who
haven't received a penny following
last summer's floods. Good old
Britain: first in, and the Burmese
leaders don't want to know, or don't
care.
Look after our own first. The
elderly deserve a lot better.
