The "If we can you can" challenge is for anyone who is either thinking of starting a business, running their own business or hoping to expand their existing enterprise.
The regionwide search - which is backed by The Northern Echo - will offer winners the opportunity to become the faces of entrepreneurship 2009.
The challenge is part of a campaign to find the next generation of the next generation of entrepreneurs. The "If we can you can" campaign is the idea of the regional Entrepreneurs Forum - funded by regional development agency One NorthEast.
