PEOPLE in the North East lose more teeth than elsewhere in the UK, according to research by mydentist.
The firm, which has half a million patients in the region, found the region had 12.22 extractions for every 100 patients in the last year compared to a national average of 11.14. Stanley, in County Durham, had 22.88.
mydentist promotes good oral hygience and regular visits to the dentist.
