My Song tells healthy tale

HUNDREDS of people attended an open-air concert at the weekend as part of a project to promote healthy living. My Song, the idea of the NHS in Darlington, commissioned young people to write music about health issues that affect them, including alcohol and drug abuse, anorexia and relationships. Teaming up with the Forum music centre in Darlington, County Durham and Darlington Primary Care Trust selected young musicians to work with industry experts. The project culminated with the concert in Darlington market place on Saturday. All the songs can be heard at soundcloud/mysong.com
